PORT TOWNSEND

Port Townsend is a Victorian Seaport located in the northwest corner of the Olympic Peninsula, on the Strait of Juan de Fuca in Puget Sound. Sheltered by Admiralty Inlet, Port Townsend Bay and the town of Port Townsend provide plenty of opportunities for business and pleasure.
Loren and Lucinda Hastings moved here in part because of the rain-shadow created by this unique environment. While Seattle receives an average of 39 inches of rainfall each year, Port Townsend averages only 19 inches while still maintaining all of the benefits of the northwest’s mild climates and vibrant ecosystems.
